  •   This was our second time staying at Seacroft because our first time was so amazing. It was the perfect place to host a large family gathering in a comfortable and warm environment. The views of the ocean were stunning and the location was secluded but not too far from the nearest town.
    Thanks Sam

  •   We had a great stay at Sam’s place. The setting is quite incredible, spectacular. Sam was extremely responsive and helpful. We were four families with children and it was perfect. Would definitely return!!

  •   My husband and I could not have asked for a better location than Seacroft or a better host in Sam for our wedding. Throughout the weekend Sam was super helpful, easily reachable and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location itself is stunning; the thought and care that has gone into renovating and maintaining it really makes it feel like warm and homely.
There was not a single guest that went unimpressed!
Thanks Sam, we will definitely be back 🙂

  •   The property was ideal for our large group of friends and families to spend some quality time together with no distractions, apart from the cows and the beautiful view.

  •   Perfect location for large groups who want a venue where you can cook your own meals, hang out together and enjoy the beautiful offerings of the Great Ocean Road.
This is an old but charming property with shared bathrooms and fabulous farmhouse-style kitchen with EVERYTHING needed to be fully self-contained.
The bedrooms are well equipped with heaters and extra blankets and there is a good mix of double/queen, single and bunk beds. You need to bring your own towels for showering but don’t forget some hand towels or paper towel for drying hands and bath mats as well.

  •   I went to Seacroft with a group of 38 adults for a dance weekend workshop. For ease we hired the whole venue; cottages and all. It was amazing to have such views as we were dancing, as well as relaxing. I had been to Seacroft prior to the booking it so was aware of the amenities and amazing views but I had constant comments over the weekend about it!
The chapel, kitchen and dining/lounge areas were all set up when we arrived. All areas were clean and tidy and there were many areas to lounge, eat and relax when we weren’t dancing. All areas easily accommodated for the 38 people staying there.
The main guesthouse bedrooms, shower blocks and cottages are a very convenient distance to the main hall and chapel. The main guesthouse bathrooms, whilst communal, still allow for some privacy. From all reports the beds were very comfortable and furnished with heaters and extra blankets, which everyone appreciated during the cold nights of our June stay. The heater in the chapel gave a perfect dancing temperature, as did the one in the lounge/dining hall.
Sam was great to deal with. Nothing was a bother and she responded to my many questions as soon as she could.
We are hoping to come back for future events.

  •   We had our wedding here with the ceremony and reception in the chapel (separate listing/hire) and about half the guests stay on site. It made the most intimate and comfortable setting for our wedding and to gather all our closest friends and family for an extended celebration, with some relaxation afterwards and the benefit of stunning scenery all around. We turned the dining/lounge area into a gorgeous space for drinks and a band between the ceremony and reception - with a little decoration it was a lovely space for the occasion. The chapel is stunning - a breathtaking combination of the Great Ocean Road scenery through the windows, with the original floorboards and old monastery style doors and trimmings. We love the place. It felt like it was totally ours because we barely saw the hosts after checking in. I suspect it will become a very high demand wedding location and the place overall seems to be under good stewardship with Sam and Barry's big vision for restoration and renovations... looking forward to the next visit!

  •   I have just run a writer's masterclass here and have subsequently booked in four more. It was perfect. Love Sam, easy going, excellent communicator, super friendly, practical can do host. The place is perfect it's like a cross between a cosy beach house and an old well loved farm house. The place is clean and the beds are SUPER comfortable. The area is fabulous, cows, the ocean, nature and all that, but it's the vibe that is leaving me with a warm glow. Can't recommend it highly enough. Just don't book when I want to come back!
