Beautiful house, clean and very well equipped. The suite with the ocean view was the highlight of our stay, along with the cute cows. It was so peaceful and cozy, I definitely recommend!

My wife and I had an unforgettable stay at this peaceful house. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking ocean views from the balcony. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was a magical experience, and the serene atmosphere made for the perfect getaway.

The location is unbeatable! The secluded beach is just across the road, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing dip or a relaxing walk along the shore. We also loved the scenic walk to the nearby waterfall, which was a hidden gem. The views from the back deck, overlooking the rolling farmland and Highland cattle, added to the charm of this beautiful retreat.

The house itself is well-designed for comfort and relaxation. The upstairs king bedroom offers incredible panoramic ocean views, and the luxurious freestanding bath with views of the farm was a real treat. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, cozy lounge with a wood fire, and the variety of entertainment options on Apple TV.
Definitely receommended.

Great place to stay a night on road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. Beautiful location, peaceful, beach access just across the road. Situated between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Comfortable for 6 of us with great outside deck space.

Absolutely loved the views, quiet, the furnishing and inclusions and most importantly the inquisitive highland cows in the paddock behind.
Definitely could have stayed there much, much longer
with some books, coffee from the coffee maker and taken in more of that relaxing atmosphere. Easy walk to the ocean as well.
Superb bedroom upstairs to lie in looking out to morning over the ocean. Bliss.

Stayed 3 nights with friends. Great location just across the road from the beach. House was clean, comfortable and functional. Very enjoyable.

The Seacroft Estate is my most favorite spot along the great ocean rd. I have stayed in different accommodations thrice before.

The views are amazing and the clear night sky along with the sounds of the waves make it an amazing spot to relax and feel close to the nature.

I have been here 4 times and I'm sure I'll be back again.

What a treat this was... Seacroft is the perfect location for a team get away. Facilities and space both accommodating for group activities or to just sit, relax and enjoy the incredible views. We took advantage of yoga on the lawn, meditation in the chapel and used the open spaces for some casual drinks on the Saturday night. The host Sam was incredibly responsive in the leadup and while we were there. 100% coming back!

Great location across the road from the beach and not far from the waterfall. Need maintenance work with the garden, cobwebs around the timber under the patio area, and the door were a bit heavy to open and close. There waas a musky smell in the single bed room.

Very peaceful location and clean place! Even though the house looked old on the outside, it was fully updated on the inside! Upper bedroom had great views of the ocean and lower bedrooms had farm view. Location is close to Apollo Bay and all the good restaurants there!

We loved our stay here- went home after 2 nights feeling like we’d been away a week. Very peaceful, a short walk just across the road to lovely beach and 15m drive in either direction to either Apollo Bay or Wye River, so location was perfect. We loved the views and the upstairs bath the most!

Seacroft was exactly what we dreamed of for our special day, and it turned into an amazing wedding weekend. We loved the quaint style and the various communal spaces, it really helped our family and friends to mingle and get to know each other across the weekend. Everything was very clean, beds are super comfortable, and you can tell that a lot of care and pride is taken in maintaining all of the spaces. The location and the views were stunning and there were photo opportunities no matter which way you turned. Sam and her team were incredible to work with, always open to our ideas and super helpful throughout the entire process. Our wedding guests loved the venue and said it was definitely worth the trip from Melbourne. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate and we’ll definitely be returning to visit and relive some of the memories of the best weekend 🌟

Had a great two night stay earlier this week and when I left my smart watch in our room after checking out. I was able to text the phone number given on google and they found it and left in an easy to find place for me. Nice and quiet spot which is reasonably priced aswell.

I couldn’t recommend enough Sam and her beautiful cottage! We had the most wonderful stay!
The cottage is so well equipped, the upstairs bedroom with bathtub is simply fantastic.
The view is great and so peaceful, just across the street you have access to the beach.
Sam has always been very quick to respond and very clear with instructions.
I was sad we only booked for one night, I would’ve happily stayed much longer!

Seacroft is undoubtedly one of the most special places I have visited in Australia. It is evident that there is a great effort to keep each piece and shared spaces in perfect condition.You can find beauty in any area of the establishment, it is impressive as the place is surrounded by mountains and at the same time has a very wide view of the ocean. If you are lucky you will be able to see whales and kangaroos. Adding that it is steps away from a beautiful path to a waterfall.I will never forget this beautiful and magic place!

Sam's house is located on one of the famous roads of the world (Great Ocean Rd). The house has front views of ocean and backyard opens to a farm with animals. Its a very peaceful place and not too far from Lorne and 12 apostles. I would highly recommend this place.

We had family come in from overseas and it was their first time visiting the Great Ocean Road.

This is one of the most affordable places along the Great Ocean Road with a stunning view of the beach and a breathtaking view of the farm highlands behind. Everything was excellent, except the heaters at the property, which did not do a great job. However, there's an option of a wood burner inside the house, which we did not use though (10AUD for wood charged separately). Host were responsive to all the questions we had when we arrived at the property. The place was clean and had a modern kitchen.

Seacroft Beach House is in a very good location, right off Great Ocean Road, easy to find, yet still secluded and private. Beach access is right across the house, and from the house, we have a good view of the ocean from the living area and the bedroom upstairs. The house is meticulously maintained, good quality linen and crockery, which makes you feel welcomed and valued.Thanks, Sam, for offering your lovely house.

A clean space, very cosy (it's smaller than it looks in the pictures).
FYI upstairs bedroom and bathroom is accessed via stairs outside. Upstairs toilet has no door so to give someone privacy, the other guest can head out onto the balcony or outside and downstairs to the living room/kitchen space.
Cute cows that you can see from the back. Power lines also though.
Grateful for the hosts who let us leave our cars in the driveway post checkout, until after the roads reopened after the marathon.
We stayed during the Great Ocean Road Running Festival weekend so you do pay a premium because of demand in the area!

Sam’s place in Sugarloaf was a beautiful stay in a nice secluded location. It was very relaxing to have a hot bath, sit in front of the fireplace and then sleep hearing the waves on the beach through the night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks Sam!

Amazing experience with baby…. The room was nice and tidy view was excellent environment was very quiet and peaceful. Sunrise 🌅 was the best part of the stay along with the full-covered stars night 🌟 was magical.

This place is an absolute delight! I thoroughly enjoyed this getaway trip and wish I’d stayed longer - the Bayview room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. Nothing better than waking up and sleeping to the sound of ocean waves. I’ll be back!

😀 - There's plenty of space, has everything we need, the kitchen is clean. The water they use is rainwater collection, physical disinfection and recycling, very environmentally friendly. The room is old but the layout is reasonable. The toilet was redecorated and clean. There are two warmers in the room, it’s warm enough in the night. The bed is very comfortable my two girls likes it. It's nice to wake up in the morning with a calf grazing by the window. There are chargers for electric cars, very convenient. The Wi-Fi is quick!! 😞 - It's basically built on a vacant lot, an 18-minute drive from the nearest town. So when it got late at night and we wanted something to eat, we had to drive into town, and it was pretty dark. So it's best to prepare what you're going to eat in advance.

😀 - The location was beautiful. Staff was lovely and the facilities were quite clean. Warm room and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. 😞 - We would have liked some rails or hooks in the bedroom to hang up wet towels, jackets, swimwear etc.

I can only speak for The Chapel at Seacroft Estate, but it's the ultimate room to book if you stay here. The stunning views, the private beach opposite, the serenity, the fluffy cows, alpacas, & the owners are what notched me up to giving 5 stars (that I usually only give to plush hotels).The Chapel itself was clean and the bed was super comfy. We knew it was self contained so we took all our food to cook (including tea & coffee etc), along with our toiletries.Sitting on the front porch with our cheese platter & wine, enjoying the views and hand feeding the cows (with the owner) was magical.Hints:*Take all your own stuff so you don't have to travel to shops*It's a shower in a bath so you'll need to be able to step in*Be prepared for people to ignore the private sign on your balcony and walk up, drag your chairs etc and possibly wake you up (to be fair, it's the best spot for the sunrise!) - just ask them to leave*There's no TV but we hotspotted our laptop to watch our shows at night*Don't expect city luxury but go to switch off, enjoy each other's company and relax (it's super comfy & clean though)*Keep your doors shut so you don't get mosquitoes inside - we only got a couple of little bites when we sat outside at dusk (nothing inside itself)For a beachside retreat, check out The Chapel at Seacroft Estate. I'll definitely go back.

OMG! We loved that place so much. We stayed at the Bay View Cottage and were more than happy with the facilities! The cottage was very spacious and well equipped and clean. The bathroom had a nice bath tube with a rain shower and even though we didn't meet any staff members, the check in / check out procedures were well described. We would definitely come back again

Sam's place was what we expected.
unfortunately l booked the incorrect date.
l did realise a few seconds after l had pressed the wrong date. Sam refused to return my call and would not allow me to change the date, pointing out to me that there is a no change policy. this is wrong and doesn't allow for simple human error. Air BnB is not a good portal to book on , because of the no change policies in small print.
l had booked Sam's place for my married children as a gift, unfortunately they could not use Sam's place on the incorrect date l booked so l came down and used one bedroom only to use some of the money l was going to just kiss goodbye.
next time l book a bed and breakfast house l will be going direct to the owners. l will not be using air bnb.

UPDATESTAY 2 - MARCH 2024Brought my bro here on his trip from the UK as well as my partner and her sister from colombia.Such a lovely location and great place to stay.Awesome kitchen and dining area.Lovely beach over the road.Surrounded by wildlife and nature.Quiet.What we didn't see last time was the moat insanely beautiful night sky - the best I've ever seenI saw the moat amount of stars, two shooting and the Milky way!!!Absolutely incredible.STAY 1 - FEB 2022:Basic room (what more do you really need), but lovely huge kitchen and shared living areas, clean shower/toilet area, great location and a fantastic view and all just a couple mins walk to the beach!!! Would love to visit in the depths of winter!!

It's a beautiful place little away from Apollo Bay. Very well located near the coast in a natural surroundings with lots of birds. Be prepared to travel to Apollo Bay for eating or buying anything

We only stayed for one night but we enjoyed it a lot! The view and the animals were amazing! Very family friendly ! The most important part is they helped me found my headphone that I lost in the hostel! I do really appreciate their help and I do recommend to everyone who’s looking for a hotel to chill with your friends or family!

😀 - The location is exceptional!! Just besides the Great Ocean Road, it has the amazing ocean view on the front, a green grazing mountain on the back and a farm with cows and Alpacas on the side. The place is peaceful and prestine. The cottage itself was also pretty clean. Timber floored throughout, decent space and comfortable. 😞 - Nothing really that i can think of.

Nice and cozy oceanside house. We loved the view of the farm with cows. It was a bad weather day on Christmas Eve, luckily this house kept us warm.

This place has breathtaking views and accommodations have a lot of character. It transports you to a completely different time and place, one that exists perhaps only in thoughts. But it also has a modern kitchen. We loved the place so much. We wished we had more time and better weather to enjoy it more. We are leaving, but already yearning to come back to this place and spend a longer time here.

This is budget friendly place to stay. They have outside coffee shop which you can make your coffee. And also they have kitchen facilities too. You have everything you need to stay for a night there. Common washroom n toilets, dining area and outside view is so amazing. I loved staying there as the early morning walk around is amazing and I loved the weather too. Visited there during winter

I love this place. Relaxing and beautiful. Stones throw from the beach. The house is really comfortable. Love the visits from the colourful birds and cows.

😀 - Es ist ein wirklich schönes Apartment, mit bequemen Betten und eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd. Mit einem Heizstrahler im Bad so das es warm ist wen man aus der Dusche kommt. Wir waren bei schlechten Wetter dort und als wir ankamen lief schon die Heizung so das wir in ein kuscheliges mit Liebe eingerichtet Apartment kamen. Es gab bei uns wegen Sturm einen Stromausfall und wir wurden umgehend informiert und mit Lampen ausgestattet. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. 😞 - None

I’ve done a few retreats here and it’s a fantastic location with amazing views and great facilities. The rooms are very basic and there are shared bathroom facilities so it is pretty basic but the location makes it worth it and the common areas and lovely.

An absolutely magical experience! We loved the friendly, local birds that visited every day. The yaks were friendly too. Stunning views of the beach from upstairs. I had coffee and brekky in bed upstairs, watching the azure coloured ocean and nothing can top that as I recover from cancer treatment. The bath and showers were deluxe. The beds super comfy. We’ll definitely be back.

😀 - Nice garden, room, view. The kitchen had everything and the dining room was well set up with lots of indoor plants which was lovely. 😞 - Nowhere to go for a walk. We has to drive to the beach even though the beach was right there.

We only stayed for one night, but this place is well worth staying for longer, we had wished we could have! How lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and to be able to wake up and take a walk along the beach.... i was looking forward to see the stars, but unfortunately it was overcast... thanks for a great stay! next time for longer I hope!
