The beach house was just perfect. Listening to the mooing cows in the paddock behind us and the calming waves from the beach in front of us made for a unique experience. We really loved it.

Good option for a one-night stay along the Great Ocean Road. Great location right on the main road and a short walk to Sugarloaf Beach. Spacious for our group of 7. Farm with cute Highland Cows right behind the house which the kids loved! Basic amenities, and while generally clean, it could be a bit better maintained and updated. Not close to shops, but Apollo Bay is a short drive away. Overall, a solid short stay!

Such a good place. 7 of us stayed there whilst doing a 2 day great ocean road trip. Just note that the beach accross the street is not a swimming beach and the drive to Apollo Bay is like 15 mins. Perfect for a quiet chill night after a day exploring though! The bath was lovely and the rooms were clean and tidy. No complaints at all.

We had a lovely stay at Seacroft estate. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was gorgeous with nice views of the ocean, which was just a short walk away. A key highlight was the koala in the garden one morning and lots of birds!

so so gorgeous. seeing the ocean in the morning from the top room balcony, cows in the back paddock, the stars at night. it was a beautiful stay. surprisingly quiet despite being right on the great ocean road. highly recommend and would definitely return on our next trip down the coast.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Seacroft Estate. The house was very clean and comfortable. It also had plenty of space for everyone and for hanging out. We especially enjoyed the wood-burning stove during a cold night. It was right across the street from the beach which made for a beautiful walk in the morning. It was peaceful, secluded and breathtaking. This house is not near restaurants, and it has a basic kitchen; so plan accordingly for food. But that did not deter us from loving our stay there.

Stayed 3 nights with friends. Great location just across the road from the beach. House was clean, comfortable and functional. Very enjoyable.

The Seacroft Estate is my most favorite spot along the great ocean rd. I have stayed in different accommodations thrice before.

The views are amazing and the clear night sky along with the sounds of the waves make it an amazing spot to relax and feel close to the nature.

I have been here 4 times and I'm sure I'll be back again.

Great location across the road from the beach and not far from the waterfall. Need maintenance work with the garden, cobwebs around the timber under the patio area, and the door were a bit heavy to open and close. There waas a musky smell in the single bed room.

Very peaceful location and clean place! Even though the house looked old on the outside, it was fully updated on the inside! Upper bedroom had great views of the ocean and lower bedrooms had farm view. Location is close to Apollo Bay and all the good restaurants there!

We loved our stay here- went home after 2 nights feeling like we’d been away a week. Very peaceful, a short walk just across the road to lovely beach and 15m drive in either direction to either Apollo Bay or Wye River, so location was perfect. We loved the views and the upstairs bath the most!

I couldn’t recommend enough Sam and her beautiful cottage! We had the most wonderful stay!
The cottage is so well equipped, the upstairs bedroom with bathtub is simply fantastic.
The view is great and so peaceful, just across the street you have access to the beach.
Sam has always been very quick to respond and very clear with instructions.

Sam's house is located on one of the famous roads of the world (Great Ocean Rd). The house has front views of ocean and backyard opens to a farm with animals. Its a very peaceful place and not too far from Lorne and 12 apostles. I would highly recommend this place.

This is one of the most affordable places along the Great Ocean Road with a stunning view of the beach and a breathtaking view of the farm highlands behind. Everything was excellent, except the heaters at the property, which did not do a great job. However, there's an option of a wood burner inside the house, which we did not use though (10AUD for wood charged separately). Host were responsive to all the questions we had when we arrived at the property. The place was clean and had a modern kitchen.

Seacroft Beach House is in a very good location, right off Great Ocean Road, easy to find, yet still secluded and private. Beach access is right across the house, and from the house, we have a good view of the ocean from the living area and the bedroom upstairs. The house is meticulously maintained, good quality linen and crockery, which makes you feel welcomed and valued.Thanks, Sam, for offering your lovely house.

We had a great night at Sam's, warm and cosy on a Winter night.

A clean space, very cosy (it's smaller than it looks in the pictures).
FYI upstairs bedroom and bathroom is accessed via stairs outside. Upstairs toilet has no door so to give someone privacy, the other guest can head out onto the balcony or outside and downstairs to the living room/kitchen space.
Cute cows that you can see from the back. Power lines also though.
Grateful for the hosts who let us leave our cars in the driveway post checkout, until after the roads reopened after the marathon.
We stayed during the Great Ocean Road Running Festival weekend so you do pay a premium because of demand in the area!

Sam’s place in Sugarloaf was a beautiful stay in a nice secluded location. It was very relaxing to have a hot bath, sit in front of the fireplace and then sleep hearing the waves on the beach through the night. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks Sam!

Sam's place was what we expected.
unfortunately l booked the incorrect date.
l did realise a few seconds after l had pressed the wrong date. Sam refused to return my call and would not allow me to change the date, pointing out to me that there is a no change policy. this is wrong and doesn't allow for simple human error. Air BnB is not a good portal to book on , because of the no change policies in small print.
l had booked Sam's place for my married children as a gift, unfortunately they could not use Sam's place on the incorrect date l booked so l came down and used one bedroom only to use some of the money l was going to just kiss goodbye.
next time l book a bed and breakfast house l will be going direct to the owners. l will not be using air bnb.

An absolutely magical experience! We loved the friendly, local birds that visited every day. The yaks were friendly too. Stunning views of the beach from upstairs. I had coffee and brekky in bed upstairs, watching the azure coloured ocean and nothing can top that as I recover from cancer treatment. The bath and showers were deluxe. The beds super comfy. We’ll definitely be back.

We only stayed for one night, but this place is well worth staying for longer, we had wished we could have! How lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the waves and to be able to wake up and take a walk along the beach.... i was looking forward to see the stars, but unfortunately it was overcast... thanks for a great stay! next time for longer I hope!

This was my first time booking an airbnb and I don’t regret it one bit. The host gave clear instructions in the chat and had instructions inside the house as well so it wasn’t so difficult for us to navigate through the house. It looked even better than in the photos. Everything was just so nice and if ever I want to bring my family to great ocean road, I will be choosing the same spot again. No regrets.
